JCI Saarbrücken, Germany
In Germany, young people must attend a dual vocational training system where pupils take their first steps into a work environment during a three-year training course. They learn about the theoretical part of the specific profession and the practical part by working in a company geared toward the career they desire during this vocational training system. Finding the right training course is the first step to the integration of young people into the labor market as well as the social system. Through the training, JCI Saarbrücken educated the young people on how to successfully fill applications, prepare for interviews and shared past experience, as well as professional advice. During this fair, young people learn how to support themselves, take responsibility for their actions, and offer companies the opportunity to get in touch with potential employees in a personal and direct manner giving them a purpose to want to work for their companies.
